What. A. Weekend.
The Jersey City Art Tour kicked off and IT RAINED (of course). I was looking forward to Saturday – worked hard all week and it was basically ruined by mother nature. I was supposed to be at the Morgan Industrial Building in Jersey City from 12-6, but ended up leaving around 3! Efrain came and picked me up with Chris and my cousin Kendall. They were in a much better mood than I was in …they were also talking about going to see Zombieland– I was into it and tagged along. The movie was funny, but what is up with the Michael Cera wanna-be? It might as well be him in the movie! Other than that, I dug it. After the movie, I met up with Safwat and Tatiana. We stopped over at Doze Green‘s apartment and saw Sean there too. I wanted to stop at the Morgan building for the afterparty, so we left them and headed over. When we got there, they gave me a cd of some photos =) Check’em out:
I like these because (not a lot of people know this but) I make these clicking noises with my tongue when I paint. It helps me feel the flow?? Hahahaha
I also received some mail from Tom Allen when I got home! =D I took this photo with my blackberry, I’ll have to scan it in asap.
That was taken on the roof of Milk Studios for the premiere issue of Twin Magazine.
Today was a complete success. The weather was great aaaand … thats really ALL I cared about. It was Day 2 at the Morgan building!
They haven’t finished putting up all the pieces, but what they have up so far looks amazing. I can’t wait to finally see my painting up there!!!
I ended up selling this piece for $75. It’s always sad to let pieces go, but I’m really happy about it having a new home!
There was definitely mad Jersey pride =)
Made some new friends:
Then all of a sudden, all these people started break dancing themselves to death! Bloodshed! A massacre!!
The Real Deal crew came out to support ❤
They even helped me pack up the tent! Mandy too! Thanks guys =)
Headed back to Weehawken and got a slice with Mandy
